The incident occurred on Wednesday, at around 9:30 p.m., in Legnica. A man called the Legnica police duty officer and said that he and a friend were following a Ford driving across the entire width of the road. The two men followed the dangerous driver until he stopped.

Police arrived at the scene and established that the Ford was being driven by a 50-year-old resident of Legnica. It turned out that the man had over 3.6 per mille of alcohol in his system. What is more, he was under a court-ordered driving ban.

The 50-year-old was detained. Thanks to the decisive reaction of the drivers, who did not silently consent to the dangerous driver continuing on his way, a tragedy was avoided.
