The incident occurred on December 9, at around 9:00 p.m., in Legnica. The victim informed the police that he had been beaten and that his phone, worth PLN 600, had been stolen. Descriptions of the perpetrators were passed on to officers from the prevention department, who went to the scene. Several hours later, the suspects were taken into police custody.

Officers established that the attackers were thirsty. At one of the stores, they pawned the stolen phone, promising to return with cash.

Both detainees have already been charged. At the prosecutor’s request, the court ordered the 30-year-old to be held in temporary custody for two months, while his younger accomplice was placed under police supervision. The two men from Legnica now face up to 12 years in prison.
