Police officers from the Criminal Division of the Municipal Police Headquarters in Jelenia Góra, together with officers from Karpacz, identified and arrested a 26-year-old man suspected of property damage. The crime was committed in the early hours of November 19. The young man set fire to a Mercedes car parked on one of the private properties in Karpacz. The owner estimated the losses at PLN 15,000.
The 26-year-old vandal was arrested. The suspect was placed in police custody. He could face up to five years in prison. The investigation is ongoing, and officers do not rule out further arrests.
