Police officers from the Prevention Department of the Municipal Police Headquarters in Jelenia Góra detained a 65-year-old man suspected of causing serious bodily harm to an acquaintance. The incident occurred on November 26, at around 4:00 p.m. A heavily alcohol-fueled party was taking place in one of the apartments in Jelenia Góra, attended by three people: a woman and two men.
At one point, an argument broke out between the men. The 65-year-old stabbed the 55-year-old in the chest with a knife. The victim was taken to hospital. It turned out that he had suffered serious injuries.
All those involved in the incident were completely drunk. Their blood alcohol levels ranged from 2.5 to 3 per mille. The 65-year-old aggressor was taken into police custody. He faces up to 10 years in prison.
