Officers from the Community Police Unit of the District Police Headquarters in Bolesławiec, supported by officers from the Patrol and Intervention Unit, conducted an operation in places where socially disruptive offenses occur most frequently. The operation covered two districts:
- area 1: including Bankowa, Komuny Paryskiej, Warszawska and Tyrankiewiczów streets
- area 4: including 1000-lecia Avenue and Gałczyńskiego, Jana Pawła II, Piastów and Jagiellonów streets.
The operations conducted on the nights of November 18–19 and November 19–20 involved 12 officers, who checked 64 people and 24 vehicles and also detected a number of offenses, including driving without a license and consuming alcohol in a prohibited place.
Moreover, during the operation, the perpetrators of two crimes were arrested: a drunk driver and a person in possession of drugs.
