The incident occurred on September 8 after 5 p.m. A truck travelling towards Zgorzelec, probably at excessive speed, skidded. The driver lost control of the vehicle, crossed into the opposite lane and collided with an off-road vehicle towing a trailer carrying a red Mitsubishi. “As a result of the collision, the vehicles ended up in a roadside ditch,” Grzegorz Maniakowski from the Bolesławiec police tells the IstotneInformacje.pl portal.

Four people were taken to hospital, including three who were travelling in the off-road vehicle. Two of them are in serious condition. The truck driver has injuries to his left arm.
