Secretary Radosław Palczewski read the starosta’s decision to resign from his position; the reason was a serious illness. Maciej Małkowski submitted a motion. He claimed that he had visited the starosta, who told him that a coalition in this form (Platforma, Roman’s people, SLD and independent councillors) was impossible.
The council rejected Małkowski’s motion. The councillors voted as follows: 12 councillors supported accepting the starosta’s resignation, while 8 voted against.
