A resident of Środa County was caught red-handed by security guards while attempting to steal fuel from a tank wagon. The guards notified the police, who detained the 32-year-old from Środa County.
What is more, it turned out that this was not the young man’s only crime of this kind. So far, Legnica police officers have proven that he committed three more such thefts. The perpetrator stole a total of 620 litres of diesel fuel.
The court will now decide the detainee’s fate. The 32-year-old faces up to five years in prison.
