On 7 March, two men suspected of kidnapping a 14-year-old boy, the son of a Bolesławiec businessman, were arrested. Both are around 20 years old and live in Bolesławiec.
The perpetrators were brutal. "They threw my son into a pit filled with cold water. He was tied up. If he had not freed himself, it would have ended badly. The doctors told me that after three hours, his body would have been so cold that he could not have been saved," Mirosław Seneszyn, the father of the kidnapped middle school student, told Boleslawiec.org Mirosław Seneszyn. The boy escaped twice. The first time, the attackers caught him and threatened to kill him. "Despite that, my son made a second attempt to escape," says Mirosław Seneszyn.
Let us recall that on Wednesday, the men took the boy from school and drove him to an allotment garden area. In one of the garden huts, they tied his hands and legs and taped his mouth shut. Then they called the middle school student's father. They demanded a ransom of PLN 400,000.
The 14-year-old managed to free himself and escape. On 8 March, the suspects will be questioned by the prosecutor's office. "Tomorrow, the court will decide whether they will be detained," says Regina Haniszewska, deputy district prosecutor in Bolesławiec.
The kidnappers face up to 10 years in prison.
