Road conditions are very difficult. The roads are icy. By noon, the fire service had already intervened three times. In the morning, a passenger car drove into a ditch in Trzebień. The driver probably skidded. A skid was probably the cause of the collision involving two vans in Warta Bolesławiecka.
Another incident occurred before noon. A passenger Citroen overturned in front of Nowe Jaroszowice. Fortunately, the driver emerged from the accident unharmed, while the passenger was taken to hospital for observation.
The police ask drivers to adjust their speed to the road conditions. Freezing temperatures and drizzle are making the roads very slippery. On such a surface, even winter tyres cannot ensure good traction.
