The ambulance parked in front of the County Office building caused quite a sensation. No, nobody had fainted. The Peugeot Boxer 335 emergency ambulance arrived in Bolesławiec all the way from Warsaw and on December 20 was officially handed over by the County Office to the Independent Public ZOZ, adding to the rather modest vehicle fleet of the county hospital.
The ambulance cost nearly PLN 350,000. The funds were obtained from external sources. The vehicle is excellently equipped and fully modern. It contains, among other things: a cardiology chair, scoop stretcher, ultrasound machine, ventilator, blood pressure monitors and a range of other devices.
