On December 5, officers from the Wrocław branch of the Internal Affairs Bureau of the Police Headquarters arrested two officers from the local traffic police in Zgorzelec. The officers are suspected of accepting a financial benefit. One of them is a resident of Bolesławiec County.
As the Boleslawiec.org portal has established, the men accepted a PLN 100 bribe in exchange for refraining from carrying out official duties. The circumstances of the case are currently being clarified. The proceedings are being conducted by the District Prosecutor’s Office in Zgorzelec. The officers face a sentence of between one and 10 years in prison.
