After the preliminary tally of votes from Bolesławiec County alone, it is known that Cezary Przybylski (a Civic Platform candidate) has a result 81% better than in the election two years ago. Today, he has 6,100 votes compared with 3,300 in 2005. At that time, he received a total of 4,200 votes in the entire Jelenia Góra–Legnica constituency. It is not yet known how many votes were cast for Przybylski yesterday outside our county.
It can be said with absolute certainty, however, that if all the people from Bolesławiec County who voted for Civic Platform had chosen Cezary Przybylski, we would already have an MP. Unfortunately, residents of Bolesławiec chose other candidates from the Civic Platform list just as often as they chose Przybylski.
We will present the official results from our county on Monday around noon.
