Renovation of the main entrance to the changing rooms at Primary School No. 1 is under way. Painting of classrooms, gymnasiums and windows at Primary School No. 2 began as early as the end of June. A room for a new preparatory class will also be adapted at this school. Painting is also planned at Primary School No. 4.
The same applies to kindergartens. Renovation of the kitchen at Municipal Public Kindergarten No. 2 is under way. Work on constructing a dishwashing room at the branch of Municipal Public Kindergarten No. 3 was recently completed. In summer, painting of the playrooms, restrooms, corridor and hall will begin at Bolesławiec Municipal Public Kindergarten No. 4. The electrical installation will also be replaced. The holiday work schedule also includes floor renovations, replacement of door joinery and replacement of the main electrical panel.
Work is also under way at the lower secondary schools. Renovation of the students’ changing rooms at Municipal Lower Secondary School No. 1 will be completed in July. Construction of the gymnasium at Municipal Lower Secondary School No. 2 is still under way. Unfortunately, acts of vandalism continue to occur in Bolesławiec. Recently, the façade of the Municipal Lower Secondary School No. 3 building on Słowackiego Street—which had only recently been renovated—was damaged. Officers of the County Police Headquarters are investigating in order to identify those responsible for the vandalism.
