On October 10, the Bolesławiec Christian Culture Days will begin for the eighth time. Those who claim that religion and spirituality are on the margins of contemporary culture should be pleased. For more than a month, they will have the opportunity to participate in cultural events related to Christian themes. The organizers’ offerings are extremely diverse—from concerts, lectures and films—with Mel Gibson’s famous "The Passion" at the forefront, to exhibitions of sacred photography.
The Bolesławiec Christian Culture Days are very popular with the residents of Bolesławiec, who eagerly attend concerts and performances prepared—in large part—by young people from various Bolesławiec parishes.
This year’s edition will feature, among others, the acclaimed vocalist Mieczysław Szcześniak, the successful Bolesławiec band "On tak chciał," and the group Deus Meus.
The detailed program of this year’s Christian Culture Days will be published on an ongoing basis on the Boleslawiec.org website, which is the event’s media patron.
