At 12:24 a.m., firefighters from Ochotniczej Straży Pożarnej w Warcie Bolesławieckiej were dispatched to an accident in Tomaszów. The driver of a passenger car lost control of the vehicle and hit a bridge pillar. Only the car’s driver was injured in the collision. In addition to volunteer firefighters from Warta, uniformed officers from Komenda Powiatowa Państwowej Straży Pożarnej w Bolesławcu (2 units), police officers and an ambulance crew took part in the operation.
