The incident occurred overnight from Tuesday to Wednesday. Just outside Tomaszów Bolesławiecki, the driver of a passenger car hit a tree. The vehicle burst into flames.

A few minutes after midnight, police received information from the Voivodeship Emergency Notification Centre about a burning car on the road between Tomaszów Bolesławiecki and Wilczy Las (Warta Bolesławiecka municipality). The driver of the Volkswagen Golf—whether it was a woman or a man is not yet known—lost control of the vehicle for unknown reasons, left the road and hit a tree.
The car, bearing Złotoryja registration plates, caught fire. Both the vehicle and the driver burned. An investigation into the incident is under way. We will return to the subject.
