Police officers from the Criminal Department of Police Station I in Jelenia Góra identified and arrested a 22-year-old resident of Jelenia Góra suspected of theft and burglary. In September, the man took advantage of the car owner's inattention and stole a wallet containing documents and payment cards from an unlocked vehicle. It turned out that the Jelenia Góra resident used the stolen cards at least fourteen times, making contactless payments for purchases in shops in Jelenia Góra. The victim's total losses amount to several hundred zlotys.
The thief was arrested. He faces up to 10 years in prison.
