On Friday, October 7, at around 7:00 p.m., the family of an elderly man contacted the duty officer at the Lubin police station. According to their account, he had not returned home, and his condition could have caused him not to know where he was or what was happening to him.
Information about the elderly man's disappearance, along with his photograph, was forwarded to all patrols operating in the city. Just a few hours after the report was filed, community police officers from Lubin recognized the missing man near the allotment gardens. Safe and in good health, he was placed in the care of his relatives.
