Shocking findings by the prosecutor’s office following a car accident near Świętoszów in which a young woman died. The istotne.pl portal learned that the person responsible for the accident was drunk and had also previously taken drugs.
The man is currently suspected of two offenses: causing a fatal accident while under the influence of alcohol and driving a car while intoxicated. It is known that the soldier had 0.6 per mille of alcohol in his blood. A third charge may concern causing an accident while under the influence of drugs. The prosecutor’s office is certain that the soldier had previously taken amphetamine; the remaining question is whether the concentration of the drug in his body was high enough to affect his driving.
The person responsible had until recently been in hospital in Zielona Góra. After being discharged, he was detained. Today, a motion for temporary detention was submitted to the court. The court ordered three months of detention.
The person responsible is a professional soldier from a unit in Świętoszów. He is 26 years old.
