All the rooms received new flooring, wall coverings and door joinery. The new arrangement of the kindergarten interiors features warm colours and safe, colourful flooring. This stage also included the replacement of electrical and sanitary installations. The work was carried out by Las-Bud from Miłoszów near Leśna. More than PLN 600,000 was allocated for this purpose from the city budget.
This year's renovation is a continuation of the facility's refurbishment. In previous years, the facility underwent thermal modernisation, and the building's rooms were adapted to fire-safety regulations. The kindergarten also received a new playground. – In Bolesławiec, kindergartens are renovated according to a schedule established with the headteachers – Bolesławiec Mayor Piotr Roman reports. In total, expenditure on the modernisation of Kindergarten No. 1 amounts to more than PLN 1.9 million. The next stage will involve renovating the kitchen and its auxiliary facilities.
The reopening of the kindergarten after the renovation was an opportunity not only to present the facility's newly renovated rooms, but also the skills and creativity of the preschoolers.
