On Saturday and Sunday (10 and 11 September), a beach volleyball tournament in the women’s open and men’s open categories was held at the Water and Sports Centre on Spacerowa Street, while children born in 2006–2007 and 2008–2009 competed in a football tournament. Football matches were planned for the Old Boys (40+) category. Ten-person teams competed in the two fires game. A rugby 7 tournament took place at Rajska Stadium on the boulevard by the Bóbr River. Team table tennis tournaments were held at the Municipal Gymnasium on Bilecka Street and at the Leśny Potok grounds on Jeleniogórska Street. Four-person teams competed in the cadet, women’s, seniors’ and masters’ categories. Streetball was the main attraction at the Przylesie sports complex. Participants could also take part in a football obstacle course, golf, a throwing contest, a shooting contest (football and rugby), and tchoukball.
The weekend’s sporting competitions formed part of the “Ball-Mič-Piłka. Euroregionalne zawody i turnieje piłki wszelakiej” project. The project is being implemented with funding from the European Union under the European Regional Development Fund, as well as state funds provided through the Nysa Euroregion. The organiser is the Municipality of Bolesławiec, with the city of Česká Lípa as co-organiser. Overall supervision was provided by MOSiR Bolesławiec. Athletes from Poland, the Czech Republic and Germany took part in the competitions and tournaments.
