Kazimiera Bukowska prepared students Alicja Myśliwiec and Aleksandra Laskowska for the National Recitation Competition. Both students received distinctions at the district stage. Tomislav Pranić took part in the national stage of a poetry competition inspired by the work of Rev. Jan Twardowski. Julia Fulczyńska, Paulina Owerko and Tomisłav Pranić are awaiting the results of the history-and-literature competition “Henryk Sienkiewicz. On the 170th anniversary of his birth and the 100th anniversary of his death,” organized by the District Committee of the Polish Language and Literature Olympiad at the district stage. Kazimiera Bukowska prepared the students for both competitions.

Katarzyna Kwaśniewska prepared students for several competitions: recitation, literature and the Polish Language and Literature Olympiad. Her student Daria Chłopicka achieved the greatest success at the National Recitation Competition organized by the Society of Theatrical Culture. Daria took first place in the “Derived from the Word” category and qualified for the provincial stage. Student Adrianna Gabrych received a distinction at the district stage. Katarzyna Kwaśniewska’s students Daria Chłopicka, Adrianna Gabrych and Bartek Baranowski took part in the competition for the Golden Pen award, “We Poles, We Lower Silesians,” organized by the Salesian General Secondary School in Wrocław. Daria Chłopicka qualified for the district stage of the Polish Language and Literature Olympiad organized by the Main Committee of the Polish Language and Literature Olympiad at the Institute of Literary Research of the Polish Academy of Sciences, Warsaw; Gabriela Tencza took part in this Olympiad without obtaining a place.

Elwira Madeiska was the subject-matter mentor of Ewelina Dubiel, who took third place in the National Literature Essay Competition organized by the Youth Palace in Katowice, Linguistics Workshop.

Iwona Florkowska, a cultural studies teacher, and Elwira Madeiska prepared students for the Jack Kaczmarski Song Review “And the Walls Will Fall…” organized by BOK-MCC. Students Katarzyna Blatkiewicz and Urszula Kurnicka took third place.
