Bogatynia police officers conducted operations targeting people hiding from justice. During the operation, they detained a 27-year-old resident of Bogatynia who was wanted because he had a prison sentence to serve for previous offenses against property. It turned out that he will now face additional charges.
The painstaking work of the police enabled them to determine where the wanted man was hiding. After entering the property, the officers found both the wanted man and several cannabis plants. What is more, the officers established that the 27-year-old had committed further offenses against property. At the beginning of August this year, he broke into a passenger car and stole a mobile phone worth PLN 2,000. Several days later, he broke into a shop, from which he took tobacco products worth PLN 5,000.
The police are continuing to clarify all the circumstances of these cases in detail and are checking whether the detained man has committed any similar offenses.
