Legnica residents and local media also helped with the arrests. One resident of Legnica, who had heard about the suspicious sellers, among other places, through the mass media, noticed an attempt at such a “transaction” and notified the police.
Officers detained three men, aged between 25 and 31, who are suspected of at least seven such frauds. All three face up to eight years in prison.
