Police officers from Kowary identified and detained a 20-year-old man suspected of burglaries and theft. He is suspected of at least 14 property-related crimes committed in July in Kowary. His loot included gardening tools, cables, power tools and other metal items, which he later sold either at scrap-metal collection points or to other people.
In addition, the serial burglar is suspected of stealing a mobile phone belonging to his own mother. Officers recovered some of the stolen property. The 20-year-old detainee could face up to 10 years in prison.
