Police officers from the Traffic Division of the Legnica police headquarters received a report that a truck was travelling along the A4 motorway and that its driver was probably falling asleep.
The officers stopped the 34-year-old driver for inspection. The resident of Silesian Voivodeship was transporting pallets of beer by truck. As it turned out, he was drunk himself—the test showed 2 per mille of alcohol in his system.
He now faces up to two years in prison.
