Two entries from Bolesławiec County made it into the top 20: Klaudia Pyrz from Primary School No. 5 and Mateusz Jankiewicz from Middle School No. 2 in Bolesławiec. The recognized works will be sent to the General Headquarters of the State Fire Service and will take part in the final stage of the competition.
On Friday, June 24, at the County Headquarters of the State Fire Service in Bolesławiec, County Board member Stanisław Chwojnicki and County Commander Grzegorz Kocon presented the awards to the winners, who were also offered an additional attraction—they got to try out firefighting equipment.
“The competition aims to draw attention to the issue and raise awareness of what can happen when basic safety rules are not followed, as well as to show firefighters and rescuers across the broad spectrum of rescue and firefighting operations,” the organizers emphasize. “Through art, it is possible to draw attention to important phenomena and situations that may occur in everyday life.”
