The incident occurred after 3:00 p.m. on the road between Lubków and Wilczy Las. Two passenger cars collided. The driver of a Suzuki, a 66-year-old resident of Gmina Warta Bolesławiecka, crossed into the opposite lane on a bend and collided head-on with a Ford Fiesta. The Fiesta was driven by a 35-year-old woman from Bolesławiec. The woman suffered a spinal injury and was taken to hospital. Both drivers were sober.
The incident was classified as a road accident.
