The competition final consisted of two stages. It comprised two parts: a written test and a quiz. Three students from middle schools and three from upper-secondary schools advanced to the second stage. The main prize was a trip to the European Parliament in Brussels, funded by Member of the European Parliament Jacek Protasiewicz.

Anna Olejnik from Zespół Szkół Ogólnokształcących No. 1 in Bolesławiec took first place. Second place was awarded to Barbara Panciszko from II LO. Third place went to Kamil Nizioł, a student of Gimnazjum in Iwiny. Magdalena Hundz from ZSO No. 1 took fourth place. These four will travel to Brussels in the second half of this year. The next places were taken by Mateusz Prokowski (I PG) and Maciej Rajfur (GS 2). The following people received honorable mentions: Paulina Kida, Karolina Kozłowska, Mihaly Balogh and Anna Kowalska.

This year’s edition of the competition was held under the slogan “European Commission.” The organizer is Powiatowe Centrum Edukacji i Kształcenia Kadr in Bolesławiec. The authors of the competition are methodical advisers from Bolesławiec’s PCEiKK—Urszula Jasik and Barbara Berduła. The tests were prepared by Edward Florków, a teacher at ZSO No. 1 in Bolesławiec.
