Officers from the Patrol and Intervention Unit of the Bolesławiec County Police Headquarters noticed a young man looking through the windows into parked vehicles. The man then attempted to cut through the bicycle lock using metal pincers.
When the 22-year-old realized he was being watched, he began to flee. He was detained after a brief chase.
The 22-year-old, a resident of Bolesławiec commune, will now answer for his actions before the court. He faces a penalty of arrest, restriction of liberty or a fine of up to PLN 5,000.
