The perpetrator always acted in the same way. Wearing a disguise, he entered the premises he intended to rob. He then threatened the staff with an object resembling a firearm, demanding that they hand over money, and when he achieved his goal, he fled with the loot.
In the last case, the detained man used a knife. He grabbed a woman working in one of the gaming salons and, threatening her with the sharp weapon, demanded that she hand over money. The woman’s determined response caused the perpetrator to flee. The man only slightly injured the victim.
Police officers from the Criminal Department had been working on the case since the first report was received. The officers analyzed a wealth of information gathered during the proceedings, as a result of which they identified and detained the 32-year-old suspect from Lubin.
At the prosecutor’s request, the court has already remanded the Lubin resident in custody for three months. He could now face up to 12 years in prison.
