The meeting was intended to present the main tasks included in this year's city budget, carried out by the City Hall, as well as investment plans for the longer term. The topics discussed included the development of the economic zone by new investors who had decided to locate their facilities in Bolesławiec.

The idea of developing the boulevard area along the Bóbr River, located near the viaduct, attracted considerable interest. The development area covers more than 9 hectares, and its individual zones were designed so that both older and younger residents of Bolesławiec who want to spend their free time actively could use them.

Participants had the opportunity to share their observations concerning life in Bolesławiec, draw attention to problems that concerned them, and report specific matters requiring resolution. Many questions concerned repairs on particular roads and the responsibilities of road administrators. DDP participants were concerned by the extent of damage to new equipment in publicly accessible areas, such as parks and playgrounds. During the discussion, suggestions were made for resolving specific problems.

It is worth recalling that the Day Care Home is an institution supporting older people, aimed at increasing the effectiveness of assistance efforts, particularly by preventing the isolation and marginalization of older people. The services provided by the Day Care Home include, among other things, physical activity, mental stimulation, meeting seniors' social and cultural needs, organizing occupational therapy activities, and providing a meal in the form of lunch. Using the center encourages activity and restores the motivation to spend time among other people who are friendly toward them.
