– In our Department of Anaesthesiology and Intensive Care, patients in life-threatening conditions are treated; these conditions are caused by various factors, including road traffic injuries, shocks of various origins and strokes – inform the director of the Department of Anaesthesiology and Intensive Care Jarosław Kuc and the director of the ZOZ Adam Zdaniuk.
On 27 April 2016, the Bolesławiec City Council decided to allocate PLN 140,000 from the city budget to purchase equipment for an intensive care station for the needs of the Department of Anaesthesiology and Intensive Care of the Bolesławiec ZOZ. In accordance with applicable medical standards, the station’s equipment includes: an intensive care bed with an anti-bedsore mattress, a ventilator, an intubation and ventilation set, equipment for fluid transfusions, including at least 6 infusion pumps; a cardiac monitor, pulse oximeter, capnograph, a device for automatic non-invasive blood pressure measurement, equipment for invasive blood pressure measurement, and a mattress or other device for actively regulating the patient’s temperature.
