Police officers from Kowary and the Criminal Division of the Provincial Police Headquarters in Wrocław detained a 29-year-old resident of Jelenia Góra County suspected of supplying drugs, possessing significant quantities of them and cultivating cannabis.
Officers received information that a cannabis plantation was probably located in the man's apartment. The information was confirmed—the officers seized 73 cannabis plants.
The plantation was located in a room specially prepared for this purpose, equipped with devices controlling heating, lighting, ventilation and humidity. The officers also found ready-made dried marijuana, from which nearly 1,000 doses of the drug could have been obtained, as well as freshly cut plants.
The 29-year-old was placed in police custody. He could face up to 10 years in prison.
