Police officers report that service in the police may be performed by:

  • a Polish citizen with an impeccable reputation
  • who has no criminal record and enjoys full public rights
  • who has at least secondary education
  • who is physically and mentally capable of serving in armed formations subject to special service discipline, to which they are willing to submit
  • in addition, men should have their military service status regulated.

Those interested in joining the police service are invited to the Human Resources and Training Team of KMP in Legnica to submit documents such as:

  • a written application for admission to service in the police, addressed to the Lower Silesian Voivodeship Police Commander in Wrocław
  • a completed personal questionnaire for a candidate for service
  • documents confirming the education and professional qualifications held (photocopies – originals for inspection); if these documents were issued in foreign languages, their translations
  • a photocopy of an identity card and a driving licence
  • a military booklet, if the candidate for service is included in the military register
  • photocopies of employment or service certificates from previous places of employment or service, if the candidate had previously been employed or served.
