We wrote about the incident, among other places, in the article They responded and helped save a 7-year-old. On Wednesday, April 27, city councillors honoured two teenagers. Jarosław Kowalski, head of the Bolesławiec City Council: “We want to thank the two brave boys who were the first to respond when an aggressive man attacked a 7-year-old.”
Mayor Piotr Roman: “People say that courage has become cheap, but in this case we are dealing with true heroism. On behalf of the residents of Bolesławiec and myself, I would like to thank you and express my appreciation for your courage in saving a human life. Your attitude is an example for everyone who cares about the life and health of another person. Your actions reinforce my conviction that selfless help and nobility are not values foreign to the younger generation. We are very proud of your conduct.”
