Based on thorough surveillance, officers located a property where illegal cannabis cultivation might be taking place. Their suspicions were confirmed—they found a considerable quantity of dried plant material at the site.
Initial tests confirmed that it was marijuana. In total, the police seized narcotic substances from which several hundred marketable doses could have been produced, as well as cannabis plants from which several thousand more doses could have been obtained. The officers also detained two brothers, aged 23 and 25, suspected of illegally cultivating cannabis. The men have already been charged.
The detainees could face up to 10 years in prison.
