These were very intensive weeks for both the soldiers and the instructors. The Świętoszów armored troops wanted to make the best possible use of the MTC training facilities. An additional motivation was the desire of the tank crews from the 1st Tank Battalion to make a worthy impression, as they were carrying out tasks at the Thun facility for the first time.

Both the soldiers of the 10th Armored Cavalry Brigade and their Swiss colleagues participated fully in the daily activities, improving their qualifications day by day and drawing conclusions from the mistakes they made.

The simulators at MTC Thun enable comprehensive training of tank crews up to and including platoon level. An interesting feature is the possibility for tank crews to carry out live-fire tasks using the emergency operating modes of the Leopard 2A4 tank's armament. In addition, the simulator software assists the instructor in analyzing errors so that they can be eliminated during subsequent exercises.

A total of 3,915 rounds of tank ammunition were fired during the training. Training at the Mechanised Training Centre simulator center in Thun enabled the Świętoszów armored troops to carry out tasks in unfamiliar new terrain and also helped draw constructive conclusions regarding the future direction of training.
