The victim notified the Lubin police duty officer of the entire incident, and he sent officers from the criminal investigation unit to the scene.

The officers began establishing the circumstances of the entire incident at the scene. At that point, men wearing balaclavas broke in again. The police noticed an object resembling a firearm in one of their hands. The attacker was subdued and detained. The others fled outside.

One of the perpetrators, holding a dangerous object, moved toward a police officer. The officer repeatedly ordered him to drop the object. The perpetrator did not respond and swung at the officer. Only a warning shot effectively cooled the aggressor’s enthusiasm.

The police detained four residents of Lubin County, aged between 23 and 28. At the time of their detention, all four were drunk. The police also secured the weapon, which turned out to be... a plastic pellet gun.

The suspects now face up to three years in prison.
