Emergency crews from JRG Bolesławiec and OSP Różyniec were dispatched to the accident. The ambulance service, police and the motorway operator were also notified.
As we read on the website of the County Headquarters of the State Fire Service in Bolesławiec:
Upon arriving at the scene, firefighters found that a passenger car had left the road. The car initially overturned onto its roof and then came to rest on its wheels. The firefighters provided assistance to the injured driver and handed him over to the medical rescue team. They also secured the scene and disconnected the car's battery.
Update
The car was being driven by a 32-year-old Pole living in England. As we have established, he was not seriously injured.
