A police officer from the Police Station in Chojnów, who lives in Bolesławiec, noticed a suspiciously behaving man at a store in Bolesławiec nervously placing various store items into a basket.
The police officer then observed that the man in question bypassed the checkout and ran out of the store. The officer immediately chased the thief and recovered goods worth more than PLN 600.
The detainee is a 26-year-old resident of Bolesławiec; he had previously been convicted of similar offenses. He now faces up to five years in prison.
