At around 8:00 a.m., the driver of a Skoda was overtaking a truck. He did not notice—he later explained to police officers that he had been blinded by the sun—that a backhoe loader was turning left in front of the truck. A collision occurred: the Skoda hit the vehicle’s front bucket and ended up in a ditch.
Fortunately, no one was injured. The driver responsible for the collision was fined.
