- Half a century of uninterrupted, harmonious married life is a momentous anniversary. It is an anniversary that evokes human emotion, the respect and appreciation of friends and all those who understand the important role played by the family – with these words, Bolesławiec Mayor Piotr Roman began the ceremony, which took place on March 3, 2016.
At Bolesławiec’s Wedding Palace, the 50th wedding anniversary was celebrated by Jadwiga and Eugeniusz Baranowski and Anna and Władysław Jędryczkowie. The honored jubilaries received the Medal for Long Marital Life, awarded by the President of the Republic of Poland. Surrounded by family and friends, the couples also expressed their gratitude for mutual love, devotion and care. The ceremony included a jubilee toast and wishes for many more years together in health and prosperity. The ceremony was enhanced by a concert performed by students of the State Music School in Bolesławiec.
