The meeting was chaired by Bolesławiec Deputy Mayor Kornel Filipowicz. Representatives of senior associations and organizations took part in the meeting: Marianna Doktor, Eugenia Wolska, Halina Waniak, Władysław Jędryczka, Anna Szwedzińska, Henryk Lemka, Wiesława Olczyk, Bożena Kulczycka, Tadeusz Żuk, Stanisława Śmigiel, Bogdan Gajewski, Henryk Rudnicki.
Deputy Mayor Kornel Filipowicz presented the newly appointed Council members with their nominations. The twelve newly designated Council representatives spoke about their activities and the achievements of the organizations from which they came. Kornel Filipowicz emphasized, among other things, that the Council’s activities are based on its statute, which defines its objectives. He also drew the attendees’ attention to two important changes related to the Council’s operation: the body has a new name, namely “Bolesławiec Senior Council,” and the Council’s term of office has been extended from two to four years.
During the meeting, a vote was held to elect the chairperson of the Senior Council’s third term. As a result of the vote, candidate Eugenia Wolska was elected chairperson of the Bolesławiec Senior Council, Halina Waniak became deputy chairperson, and Marianna Doktor became secretary.
Deputy Mayor Kornel Filipowicz congratulated those elected. Chairperson Eugenia Wolska then took over the chairing of the meeting, thanked the members for their trust, assured them of her dedication to the Council’s affairs, and also proposed a new two-level work plan for the Senior Council, covering activities at both the local and national levels.
