Police officers from the Criminal Department of Police Station I in Jelenia Góra identified and detained a 24-year-old man suspected of burglary and theft.
According to their findings, the 24-year-old has committed at least six property-related crimes in Jelenia Góra. Most of them involved breaking into garden sheds.
His loot included gardening tools, cables, power tools and other metal items, which he later sold at scrap-metal collection points or to other people. In addition, in September last year, the man stole two stainless-steel railings worth PLN 8,000, causing damage to one of the housing communities.
The 24-year-old faces up to 10 years in prison.
