Officers seized more than 110 kg of cut tobacco, nearly 40,000 cigarettes and more than 100 plastic bottles of alcohol. Naturally, all of it was without Polish excise stamps. Two men suspected of possessing illegal goods were also detained. They are residents of Zgorzelec and the surrounding area, aged 41 and 59.
Police officers are currently clarifying all the circumstances of the case in detail. The seized tobacco was worth tens of thousands of złoty.
The 41- and 59-year-old men face up to three years in prison.
