Officers from Police Station II in Jelenia Góra identified and then arrested a young man suspected of numerous property crimes in the course of their operations. The arrested man is a 21-year-old resident of the Janowice Wielkie municipality.
According to the officers’ findings, the man is suspected of at least 16 offenses committed in Jelenia Góra between January and February this year. These included break-ins and property thefts.
The 21-year-old broke into and robbed cars, utility rooms, basements and garages. His haul included various power tools, documents, a credit card and other items that he considered valuable. What is more, the man used the stolen card to pay for purchases nine times.
The arrested man faces up to 10 years in prison.
