The purpose of a social cooperative is to run a joint enterprise based on the personal work of its members. During the opening, BSS president Zbigniew Herbut reported that at least 50 percent of the members of a social cooperative must be people at risk of social exclusion. The cooperative’s aim is to help its members return to an orderly social life and activity in the labour market.
