The detainees are a 30-year-old resident of Lubin and his 34-year-old wife. As a result of the actions taken, officers seized 24 pots containing marijuana and 350 grams (sic!) of dried plant material, from which the suspects could have prepared nearly 1,750 doses of a narcotic substance. Both were taken into police custody.
The couple were completely surprised by the officers’ visit to their apartment. The police found drugs hidden in one of the rooms and also seized equipment for growing Indian hemp.
The woman will also face charges for insulting and violating the bodily integrity of a public official. During her arrest, she was very aggressive and vulgar.
At the prosecutor’s request, the court ordered pretrial detention for the detainees: two months for the 30-year-old man and one month for his wife.
Both could face up to 10 years in prison.
